Something I have learned over my years at Wildwood School is that the
teachers really appreciate any work that we can assist them with, and the
Work Bee is just one way we can help. Some of the tasks we may be asked to
do are stapling, photocopying, cutting, adhering, laminating, collating,
binding, and folding. Some tasks can be completed at home on your own time,
others need to be done at the school - like laminating or coil binding. You
don't need to be super crafty or creative, you just need to have a desire to
help out and maybe even have some fun social time while doing it. We
typically meet once or twice a month for a few hours on a Thursday or Friday
depending on what other events are happening at the school. Having 3 or 4
volunteers each session works really well for the projects we have had this
year.
