Working on getting the links to work within the copy from WEEK AT A GLANCE REPORTS from school.
Next Week’s Glance at Wildwood School – October 2:
1. Mathletics – We are excited to let you know that our students are in the process of receiving their user usernames and passwords for the Mathletics website. Mathletics is an online Math program that allows students to practice their skills and compete against other students from schools around the world. 2. Please see the attached letter from our Board of Trustees.
3. Next week we will celebrate literacy at Wildwood School by having a special reader in the Wild Woods at 11:35 (lunchtime). Bring your lunch and a blanket and listen to the story from one of our Readers. Afterwards all students can return to the playground to finish their outside time. This will occur from Monday October 5 to October 9. All parents are welcome as well!
4. SUTP coupon books orders were filled this week and sent home with your child. Please check the backpacks to ensure you received yours. There are still a few books available if you would like to purchase one. Thank you to Mrs. Joseph, Mrs. Saffran-Hunter, Mrs. Peterson, Ms. Lingard for all your help with this first fundraiser of the year.
5. Last week we asked parents and guardians to register their student to partake in Festive Foods by going to www.healthyhunger.ca . If families are opting to send money to school for the lunches (as opposed to paying thru the Healthy Hunger site) please make cheques to Wildwood School Council.
6. Please see attached the Calgary Reads October Newsletter for some great reading adventures for your family.
Have a great weekend!
Darren and Renée
